Our Trustees

Trustees of The Norfolk Heritage Fleet Trust

The Trustees primary duties are:

  • To make sure that the Trust is carrying out its purposes for the public benefit

  • To ensure that the Trust is complying with its governing document and the law

  • To act in the Trust’s best interests

  • To mange the Trust’s resources responsibly

  • To act with reasonable care and skill

  • To ensure that the Trust is accountable

A dedicated team of volunteer Trustees looks after the Trust and ensures that Hunter’s continues to operate as a traditional yard and offers opportunities for youth groups and schools as well as individuals.

The Trustees are also responsible for ensuring we maintain the necessary boat building skills and resources to ensure the fleet is conserved, maintained and promoted
