    Additional Information

Rebel Reveller (R9) was built by R Moore & Sons in 1956 at Horning but was designed by Alan Buchanan and originally named Rebel Hood. She was renamed in 1966, bought by Hunter’s Yard in 1997 and relaunched in 1999 after a major refit. Only 13 of these boats were built with wooden hulls up to 1962 but a mould was taken in 2004 and two glass fibre (GRP) hulls were launched in 2008, a 16th Rebel has since joined the GRP fleet in 2015.

The Rebel class is a very lively Broads racing and day boat although this boat is fitted with smaller sails for hiring, the reduction equates to having roughly one reef in.
